Congratulations to the New CSOFP Board of Trustees!
The new composition of decision-makers within the Civil Society Organization-Forum for Peace Inc. for the next two years is a combination of new and old officers.
With the entry of Maranao leaders, I hope it can embark well with its peace-building initiatives to a better direction. Maybe, in the next election, CSOFP can also involve leaders of the indigenous communities to truly integrate them in the mainstream of peacebuilding.
As Abel Moya of Pakigdait Inc. face challenges positively by saying "yes, we can!" , may the new team takes the cudgel of responsibilities with unwavering commitments for conflict resolution and management that will involve wider participation of all peace stakeholders.
Mindful of the controversies from critics, may the new leaders too deal issues with sobriety without roughness in advancing its agenda; cool-level of understanding to those who misconceived its campaigns; engender heart-warming methodology of sharing insights; and confront challenges without disregard to our cherish values as persons and peacemakers in our communities.
As we move on to the next chapter of our causes, may our hands reach each other with the same passion for change and unceasing appreciation to the integral foundation laid by our leaders who made CSOFP as truly a platform for peace.
