Flood and Endless Love

This is just a note on the sand across the flooded river.
I took a photo of the smallest note.
My Kuya Rock2x, who prodded me to cross the river to take a snap shot of this at a moment of disaster, took a picture of the note written largely and boldly than this. It can even be read across the river if you'd stand along the road near the site carved out by flash flood.
It read "I Love You, BJ."
Curious of this notes, Kuya went near to the youths making fun with sand along the riverbank.
"Who is BJ?" Kuya asked.
"He is my boyfriend," replied a youth whom we later knew as Mary Jane, 15 years old.
"It has been said walay bul-og sa baha sa suba nga makatumpag sa gugmang tiunay. (No flashflood could ruin true love.)," said Kuya Rock.
"But what happened to BJ? Where is he?" I asked.
"He is already dead. He was salvaged by a gang last December 20. His dead body was missing for awhile and was later found last December 23 at Purok 2 of this village," replied another youth.
"Why? Uh, that's really sad..." I said.
"He was actually innocent. He was just picked up and was interrogated and then... was killed," he continued.
I watched Mary Jane who was so quiet holding a handful of sand.
"Common, lets go before another flood hits us here in this riverbank," I urged them.
I was thinking of it for awhile.
What a tragic lovelife.
