GMA spends first work week of 2009 in Mindanao

In Lanao del Sur and that will be the venue of this year's first "full Cabinet" meeting of the Arroyo administration, the Office of the PressSecretary (OPS) reported on January 3. (As of January 4, however, the venue has been moved to theMacapagal-Macaraeg ancestral house in Timoga, Iligan City).Ms Arroyo is spending the first work week of 2009 in Mindanao, with at least10 events lined up for her in six provinces in the northern and westernparts, from Monday to Thursday, January 5 to 8. The Office of the Press Secretary (OPS) reported that as of January 2, the President's tentative schedule includes visits to Zamboanga del Sur,Misamis Occidental, Lanao del Sur, Misamis Oriental, Camiguin and Bukidnon.
