LTO Iligan licensing chief and nephew killed in ambush

ILIGAN CITY (MindaNews/05 November)--- A group of armed men indiscriminately fired at the chief of licensing division of the Land Transportation Office here who was on board a green Isuzu Crosswind vehicle at around 8 a.m. Thursday, killing him and his nephew.

Killed were Ali Datumanong, chief of the licensing division of the LTO-Iligan office and his nephew Acrab Datumanong.

Datumanong and his nephew were cruising along the corner of Legaspi Village and the national highway when armed men on board vehicles fired at them. [More at MindaNews]
