Gory...

In a crash course for conflict management and transformation for civilian volunteers, one of the speakers had a powerpoint presentation on how to give first aid to victims of violence. There were photos shown, some of which are truly gory to the senses but however have truly happened. Sadly I ask,

Me: Do you think this victim could have survived?
Him: Maybe, nagpa-picture pa kasi sya eh.
